Jess Timmins

Jess is Co-Founder of Kernl, an Australian software company building intuitive AI tools for care providers so they can specialise in people, not admin. She has over fifteen years’ experience across technology, human services and social purpose organisations, working in strategy, operations, governance and regulatory environments.She was a founding team member at Hireup, where she led quality and safety, risk and regulatory engagement during a period of national growth. She has since advised human services organisations on strategy and innovation.

Jess has also worked with School for Life Foundation, the Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience, and Together for Humanity, and co-founded Dance Chance, a dance group for people with disability. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Social Inquiry), a Master of International Relations, and completed the Mastery of Business and Empathy at Small Giants Academy.
